Season 2, Episode 13: Life Of Crime

After Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob and Patrick it is okay to borrow without permission, as long as they return it, the two "borrow" a balloon. However, it pops and the two believe they have to live on the run as fugitives. When SpongeBob and Patrick fight over their candy bars (their only food for their life on the run), they go to tell the police on each other. They find out it was Free Balloon Day and they don't go to jail.
