While waiting at the Bikini Bottom docks and shipyard, SpongeBob prepares for summer camp at Sun Fun Island. However, Patrick is upset that SpongeBob has to leave. After an emotional goodbye, SpongeBob decides to invite Patrick to some with him to summer camp. However, SpongeBob and Patrick mistakenly go to prison instead of summer camp. They enjoy it nevertheless, much to the chagrin of the warden, and are mad when they must go back to the real camp. The Counselor of SpongeBob's camp comes to Infernal Island, to retrieve SpongeBob, who was absent from his camp.
